[read more and register for SCRUM 2014 on November 29th] Toronto's LGBT Sport and Recreation Conference: 2015 and Beyond! 2015 will be a big year for Toronto’s sport and recreation communities and the LGBT sport community is no exception. Through OUTSPORT TORONTO’s partnership with PrideHouse Toronto, the LGBT sport community of Toronto will be focused on ensuring that the 2015 Pan/ParaPan Am Games are the most LGBT-inclusive games in history. Beyond the Games however, there are opportunities to leverage the experience of TORONTO2015 to build our capacity and our communities. SCRUM provides an opportunity to celebrate and highlight what is to come over the next year while beginning to plan for what is to come for Toronto’s LGBT sport community beyond the Games. Marnie McBean, four time rowing Olympic medalist (3 golds, 1 bronze) opens the conference as our keynote speaker. [read more and register for SCRUM 2014 on November 29th]
