Game Plans - They Work

David Langan's picture

My Dad was a certified master painter from Glasgow, Scotland who was sought after by builders and developers in BC because of his high level of skill and professional results. He used to say in his thick, distinct, Mary Hill accent "Preparation is nine tenths of a job."

Any winning team knows that you need to prepare and plan in order to get to the podium... you need a game plan. That's no different behind the scenes of an organization like OutSport Toronto.

Your OurSport Toronto board is currently engaged in preparing the 2011 game plan. It's a highly involved process that speaks volumes to the commitment of our volunteers. How can we support the LGBT sport community? What can we accomplish? Where can we be by the end of 2011? How much money will it cost? And how do we become sustainable?

These are just some of the questions we're wrestling with during the development of our game plan. Our aim is to complete OutSport Toronto's 2011 Game Plan by the end of the year and publish our key objectives.
