The TGFL has been created to give members of the LGBT community and their allies a chance to play the game of flag football, regardless of skill or experience, in a comfortable, safe, and welcoming environment that is free from harassment, and where race, creed, gender, and sexual orientation are not an issue.
Description
The TGFL is Toronto's only LGBT flag football league and has been in operation since May of 2009. TGFL is open to players of all ages (18+) and skill levels who are interested in playing this great sport. Whether you haven't played since high school or are completely new to the sport and just want to try it, this is the time for you to come out and give flag football a shot!
Our initial season in 2009 consisted of playing just pick-up games but bigger and better things are here for 2010. We have 5 teams formed - all sponsored by establishments in the Church & Wellesley area and will be playing by NGFFL rules.
